About Me
Music has always been my passion.
It started with singing as a toddler. Then it went into playing the piano in second grade, singing in the choir in third grade, and playing the french horn in school bands from fifth through twelfth grade.
But before I was ever a DJ, I was already putting together dance playlists on Spotify and ordering each song to take the crowd through a proper journey, especially at weddings.
I was also listening to mixes and noticed that the producer didn’t just make the songs individually, but they would blend the songs together so that one would transition into another in a fluent or surprising manner.
I found this so fascinating, and only a couple years later I realized that… well… that’s the whole point of a DJ!
I’ve always been a people person.
I enjoy performing, making people happy, and helping others through all sorts of entertainment.
I’ve performed in front of crowds through numerous hobbies, such as the instruments mentioned above, juggling, Rubik’s Cube, magic, etc.
I find that I’m a huge communicator as a DJ.
I like to interact with the crowd, preparing them for build-ups and beat drops, as well as making humorous remarks every now and then.
I also have a streaming service, so if I have a crowd that can give song requests, I can play that song on the spot even if it’s not downloaded in my software.
As an added bonus,
I capitalize on a very unique sub-genre of music that combines two genres that were literally designed for dancing: EDM and Swing.
This genre is known as Electro Swing; it takes you back to the 1920s and takes you forward to today’s electronic beats.
Best of all, you can’t listen to it without moving a muscle.
My very first crowd found this so endearing.
I do not have to play this at parties, but most crowds will enjoy this, and I guarantee someone would walk out and say,
“That was a fun party, but my favorite part was when he played that ‘electronic jazz’ music. I will never forget that.”
So, feel free to book me as the DJ at your next gig!
I’m able to adapt to any crowd, making all sorts of mixes, whether planned or improvised.
Therefore, there is no risk with signing me up, because whatever kinds of people you have dancing, I can leave them feeling happier than before as well as tired enough to go straight to bed.
